Malay Cauldron Curry is inspired from another famous Malaysian curry ‘Gulai Kawah’ or known as ‘The King of Curry’ originated from the East Coast of Malaysia especially Kelantan and served traditionally at the wedding banquets.
Step 1: Heat the cooking oil in a pot.
Step 2: Add the chicken pieces and stir until the chicken changes color.
Step 3: Add the water and The Cube bring it to a boil.
Once it boils, reduce the heat and let the chicken soup simmer slowly for 30-45 minutes until the chicken is tender.
Step 4: Add the carrots and potatoes to the chicken soup, stir well and cook until the vegetables are tender.
Step 5: Finally, add the celery, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well and cook for a few more minutes until the chicken soup is cooked.
The chicken soup is now ready to be served. You can serve it with rice or bread as a side dish. Enjoy!
